As many of you might have heard, Etsy announced record profits last year, and immediately raised seller fees by 30%. Etsy sellers are striking from April 11th through the 18th to protest this unfair hike to fees that are already crippling to many small businesses.
My shop will be closing from April 11th through the 13th to participate in this strike, then will reopen with increased pricing on the 14th to accommodate these new fees. Merch sold in person at events will not be subject to this price increase.
